La Briquerie is a period hunting lodge with 2 stone cottages set in a large landscaped garden approx 2 acres. The 2 cottages are tastefully decorated with antique and period French furntiure and also combining modern appliances and conveniences such as dishwasher, microwave, full oven, etc., Set in 2 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens La Briquerie is a very special place. There is a large in ground heated swimming pool (10 x 5 metres) with roman end and 1.3 metres deep so ideal for children and games. Lights make it a great night time experience too. The pool area is safety fenced with a childproof gate

Lots to do
Bikes are available and included in the price we have a limited range of children;s bikes too. As La Briquerie is situated adjacent to the river and the long distance cycle path you just need to step outside the gate and start cycling in either direction.

Huge indoor games room with snooker, table tennis, babyfoot, and miscellaneous exercise equipment. Board games, puzzles, toy boxes for all ages make this a popular area. Limited Wi-Fi access is available here too.
Outside there in the paddock there is a play area with a large safety netted trampoline, slide, swings and sand pit.

Other facilities include badminton, boules, Garden Jenga as well as an extensive video and DVD library, books – you will not be bored.
For the water lovers we have a small rowing boat and fishing equipment for those wanting to get out onto the river.
In addition to the table and chairs outside each cottage there are numerous picnic benches around the garden and portable barbecues so you can enjoy the many aspects this magnificent garden has to offer. If you are unlucky enough to have cooler or wetter weather then the conservatory is ideal overlooking the garden and sheltered.

Cottage descriptions
Rose Cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) and can sleep 6 people and a baby. The master bedroom has a stunning vaulted ceiling and views over the river as well as an ensuite with shower, wc and basin. There is a further family bathroom serving the other 2 bedrooms with a bath, walk-in shower, wc and basin.
Downstairs it is open-plan with separate areas for the well equipped kitchen (large fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, etc. The dinning room has a large table and 6 chairs and there is a separate lounge with an open fireplace. There is a television with freeview British channels. It is comfortably furnished throughout with a mix of old and modern that emphasizes its charm. There is a shared laundry area with washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board - if you find you need it.

Vine Cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 family room) and 2 bath/shower rooms. The double bedroom has a small en-suite shower, wc and basin as well as a ample hanging and drawer space. The family room has a double bed and a single bed. The main bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, basin and wc.
Downstairs is open plan with double doors opening up onto the courtyard and a garden table and chairs. It is light spacious and airy with a fully equipped kitchen area (large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc).
